Our initial brief for our clients at Aldeburgh House was to extend their existing cart lodge and add some alterations to their existing house.
The first step in the cart lodge extension was to restructure the existing roof as it was starting to cave in slightly, once this essential stage was complete we built the oak new oak frame structure to house the additional two bays and corner workshop.
As the project progressed we went on to replace the roof with beautiful handmade tiles, and build bespoke oak doors in our workshop for the two bays, which meant guaranteed quality for both us and the client and these two materials together really make this cart lodge a truly special.
We also went on to build an oak window gable and oak french doors to add to the client existing house.
